As I am constantly doing research on software and services, I really feel that somebody should make a blog about br0ken demo installations and extraordinary mortifying failed self-praise. It is unbelievable how
often I come across not working demo installations of software or broken "we show you how good we are"-assets - in fact it happens so often, that I started betting before visiting demo sites - actually this blogpost is the result of such a bet - I said "ok, if this demo does not work, I will start blogging about not working demo installations"... guess, what happened.
Hey, developers: please, take it with a big portion of humor - that´s what I am doing. Of course not working demo installations are totally annoying, a painful waste of time and extremely embarrassing - for both sides - but especially if the developers are advertising themselves as ultra-competent super-guys that fly high and get things done really well the victims of such time wasters gain one right, at least - to have a good laugh. So take it with fun and laugh about yourself - I am just playing evil here :)
[Especially this last sentence also applies to all that mentally disturbed fundamental religious fanatics that want to harass me because I am playing "evil" here!]
